Becoming a Protector for the Asian Elephant

The Asian elephant is the most endangered elephant species. You can support the Asian elephants by becoming an Elephant Protector within the Asian Elephant Fund (in short Asian Fund). At the moment the Asian Fund supports the following Thai projects:

  • Elephant Nature Park

  • Elephant & Friends

  • Bring the Elephant HOME

    In de near future we will add new projects to the Asian Fund to protect the Pygmy elephant on Borneo, the Sumatran elephant and the Sri Lankan elephant.

    Becoming an Elephant Protector
    The contribution for a Elephant Protector is €60,- a year. As a Protector you will regularly receive the Asian Bulletin about the latest developments of the Asian Projects. Besides that, a Protector will receive “the Elephant”® magazine 4 times a year.

    Becoming a Foster parent of a Asian Elephant
    You can become a Foster parent of Sri Nuan or Douk Ngern. The contribution for a Foster parent is €60,- a year. As a Foster parent you will receive a Foster parent Certificate, a picture of the elephant of your choise and every 3 months an Update, so you will know how life goes on with your adopted elephant. Besides that, a Foster parent will receive “the Elephant”® magazine 4 times a year.
